Sewing, for sure, is a very ancient craft since it has been around since the Paleolithic Era. Archaeologists believe that Stone Age people across Europe and Asia sewed fur and skin clothing with tools of bone, antler, or ivory needles. They used thread made of various animal body parts. So, to say sewing is an “old” craft is an understatement.
It is almost unbelievable that such an ancient art is still alive and well today.
